Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı Attended Reception for Jean Monnet Scholars Who Will Study in Ireland
Irish Ambassador to Ankara Brendan Ward hosted a reception on 20 August 2019 for Jean Monnet Scholars who will study in Ireland in the 2019-2020 academic year. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Head of the EU Delegation to Türkiye Ambassador Christian Berger and Jean Monnet Scholars attended the reception.
In his speech at the reception, Director of EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı emphasized the importance of the Jean Monnet Scholarship Program in terms of both the careers of the scholars and Türkiye’s EU harmonization process.
