Brussels Visit of 2019 Young Translators Contest held by the Directorate for EU Affairs

The students successful in the 2019 Young Translators Contest held by the Directorate for EU Affairs were awarded with a study visit to the translation and interpretation DGs of the European Commission in Brussels between 29 July and 1 August 2019. The Young Translators Contest aims to raise awareness regarding Türkiye’s EU accession process among university students studying translation and interpretation.

The young translators visited the Permanent Delegation of Türkiye to the European Union, and were received by the Ambassador Mehmet Kemal BOZAY, the Permanent Delegate to the EU and Associate Prof. Dr. F.H. Burak ERDENIR, the Deputy Permanent Delegate to the EU.
