A Training for the Beneficiaries of Black Sea Basin Cross Border Cooperation Programme has been held in Istanbul
A training for the beneficiaries whose projects started to be implemented under the first call for proposals of the 2014-2020 Black Sea Basin Cross Border Cooperation Programme, for which which the Directorate for EU Affairs acts as the National Authority, has been held in İstanbul by the Managing Authority, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs and Technical Support to the Implementation and Management of ENI CBC Programmes (TESIM).
Bringing together Turkish, Georgian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Greek, Ukrainian and Moldovan representatives of local and regional authorities, chambers of agriculture, commerce and industry, civil society organisations, universities, educational and research institutions, the event began with welcome address and opening speech which was conducted by the representative of our Directorate.
The training aimed at giving information about general rules for project implementation, relevant documents and applicable legislation, reporting, project financial management, irregularities, fraud and corruption, on-the-spot verification and so on.
The Directorate for EU Affairs was represented by EU Affairs Experts Serkan Bozkurt, Yusuf Ziya Ayrım and Kubilay Sitrava from the Financial Cooperation Directorate.
One more beneficiary training for Turkish beneficiaries will be held in early October.
