Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik’s visit to Berlin
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will be visiting Berlin on 14-15 December for meetings with his German counterparts and to attend Türkiye-EU civil society meetings to be organized by the Ministry for EU Affairs.
In Berlin, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will attend and deliver a speech at a breakfast meeting organized by Körber Foundation. Minister for EU Affairs Ömer Çelik will meet with Minister of State for Europe Michael Roth at a working luncheon and Minister of State and Federal Government Commissioner for Migrants, Refugees and Integration Aydan Özoğuz.
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will also attend a working breakfast with Federal Minister for Special Tasks and Head of the Federal Chancellery Peter Altmaier.
Recent developments in Türkiye-EU relations, fight against terrorism, visa liberalization process, migration crisis, Türkiye-Germany relations and bilateral cooperation opportunities will be on the agenda of Minister Çelik’s meetings in Berlin.
In Berlin, Minister for EU Affairs Ömer Çelik will also attend the opening of Türkiye-EU civil society meetings with the participation of representatives from Türkiye and Germany.
