The closing event of the “Technical Assistance for Enhancement of TÜRKAK’s Capacity in Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies Project” was held

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in the closing event of the “Technical Assistance for Enhancement of TÜRKAK’s Capacity in Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies Project”, which was financed by Türkiye and the European Union and TÜRKAK is the beneficiary, held in Ankara on 8 March 2022.

Delivering an opening speech, Deputy Minister Ambassador Kaymakcı congratulated women from all over the world on March 8, International Women's Day and made an assessment over Türkiye-EU relations, the studies carried out in Türkiye in the field of conformity assessment, the Paris Agreement, the European Green Deal, and green transformation.

Within the scope of the project with a total budget of 1.3 million euros, training and activities were carried out for 25 sectors determined by taking into account  the quality infrastructure and the needs of our country, and a total number of 4800 persons  participated in the activities of  the project  which was successfully concluded as of March 2022.
