Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in the 10th meeting of IPARD II Monitoring Committee
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in the 10th meeting of 2014-2020 Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance – Rural Development (IPARD II) Monitoring Committee.
Delivering an opening speech, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı stated that, IPARD Programmes implemented since 2011 made a significant contribution to economic and social welfare of Türkiye’s rural areas with more than 16,000 grants. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı expressed his strong belief in that all the stakeholders will put their efforts to maintain the success achieved over the past decade for the upcoming IPARD III Programme (2021-2027).
During the meeting, which Deputy Ministers of Agriculture and Forestry Fatih Metin and Mehmet Hadi Tunç also participated in, the state of play in the grant payments made to the beneficiaries within the scope of the Programme, the results of monitoring and evaluation activities and the preparatory studies for the upcoming IPARD III Programme (2021-2027) were discussed.
