Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı Delivered an Opening Speech in the Orientation Programme for new Assistant Experts

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı opened the Orientation Programme prepared for the Assistant Experts who have been recently appointed at the Directorate for EU Affairs. The Orientation Programme will start on 19 October and continue until March 2021.

In his speech at the opening of the Orientation Programme, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı wished the Assistant Experts for EU Affairs success in their professional lives and said, “Today, we cemented our EU Accession Path. We are launching an intensive orientation programme that will continue until March 2021 for the young and dynamic EU Affairs Experts who recently joined us. We grow stronger with our new Eurocrats in the EU harmonization process!"

Within the scope of the Orientation Programme, the Assistant Experts for EU Affairs, who have been recruited after a challenging examination process, will be given comprehensive training on a wide variety of topics including the administrative structure and service units of the Directorate for EU Affairs, foreign policy, relations with the EU and personal development. The assistant experts will have the opportunity to both increase their existing knowledge and improve their personal skills though this training programme.
