Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in a webinar entitled ''Back to the Future: Türkiye & the EU in the New Normal''
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in a webinar entitled “Back to the Future: Türkiye & the EU in the New Normal” organised by Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) Türkiye-Europe Business Councils on 22 June 2020.
During the webinar where Ambassador Christian Berger, Head of the EU Delegation to Türkiye attended besides Deputy Minister Ambassador Kaymakcı, Türkiye-EU relations were discussed in detail.
Deputy Minister Kaymakcı stated that updating the Customs Union is not only economically but also politically a “win-win” situation. Kaymakcı also added that the pandemic period may be an opportunity to develop new economic relations.
