Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı received European Commission Deputy Director-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Maciej Popowski. Türkiye’s accession process, Türkiye-EU relations, update of customs union, visa liberalization process as well as efficient use of Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) and Facility for Refugees in Türkiye (FIRT) funds were discussed in detail during the meeting.
