Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will go to Romania on 11-12 February 2016 for official meetings following his visit to Netherlands accompanying the Prime Minister

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will go to Bucharest on 11-12 February 2016 for official visits, following his visit to the Netherlands on 10 February 2016 accompanying the Prime Minister.

During his visit in Bucharest, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will be received by Valeriu Ştefan Zgonea, President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament and Dacian Cioloş, Prime Minister of Romania. Minister Bozkır will have a meeting with Lazăr Comănescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania.

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will meet with chairs and members of the Committee for Foreign Policy and the Committee for European Affairs at the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament.

In Bucharest, Minister Bozkır will also come together with Calin Popescu Tariceanu, President of the Romanian Senate, Lazăr Comănescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania and George Ciamba, Secretary of State for European Affairs of Romania at working luncheons.

During his visit to Bucharest, Minister Bozkır will attend the ceremonies to be held at the Bucharest Atatürk Statue and the Turkish Military Memorial Cemetery. He will also visit the office of the Turkish Businessmen's Association in Romania to meet with Turkish businessmen.

During his contacts in Bucharest, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will exchange views on bilateral relations between Türkiye and Romania, Türkiye's EU accession process, migration and fight against terrorism.
