Attention of the Grant Beneficiaries under the Bulgaria-Türkey CBC Programme

Dear Grant Beneficiaries,

In order to avoid misunderstanding and making mistakes in preparation process of the Quarterly Progress Reports, the Managing Authority of the Bulgaria - Türkiye IPA CBC Programme would like to make the following clarifications and guiding rules:

1.  According to the provisions under Article 6 "Reporting" of the Subsidy contracts, the Lead partner has to submit to the Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) Quarterly Progress Reports, dully stamped and signed by the Lead partner. Submission of progress reports signed only by the project manager is permissible in case a power of attorney is issued by the legal representative/s of the Lead partner in the name of the project manager;

2.  According to Article 2 "Duration of the contract", the commencement of the project implementation starts the day after the date when the contract enters into force.  In this regard, in completing the Quarterly Progress Reports, the Lead partners have to fill in the section "Starting date of the contract" of the Quarterly Progress Reports, the date following the date when the contract enters into force (the date following the date on which the last party signs the contract).
