MINISTRY FOR EU AFFAIRS

The Ministry for EU Affairs evaluates in Berlin Turkey’s contributions to the future of the EU with representatives from civil society organisations

The Ministry for EU Affairs, under the auspices of Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik, will hold three different conferences in Berlin on 14-15 December, with the participation of academicians, media and business world from Turkey and Germany titled “TURKEY-EU CIVIL SOCIETY MEETINGS”.

Representatives from civil society from Turkey and Germany will come together to exchange views by assessing the Turkey-EU relations in the current context. The ideas and recommendations shared in these series of meetings are aimed to provide guidance for the Turkey-EU common future.

The first meeting of representatives from the business world, academicians and members of the media, who are important stakeholders in the EU Communication Strategy (EUCS), was held in Brussels on 29th November 2016. The series of meetings are planned to continue in other EU capital cities following the meetings in Berlin.
