EU Minister Ömer Çelik accompanied President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during his visit to New York

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik accompanied President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during his visit to New York on the occasion of 71st session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly. 

During the visit, EU Minister Ömer Çelik also attended to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s meetings with President of Slovenia Borut Pahor, Prime Minister of UK Theresa May and Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsipras.

Attending the reception held by the EU officials, EU Minister Ömer Çelik met with High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the EU Commission Federica Mogherini, European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn and European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Christos Stylianides.

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik also accompanied President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s meetings with the representatives of the US investors and Jewish NGO representatives in USA.
