Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır Paid an Official Visit to Austria
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır paid a visit to Vienna on 13-14 April 2016 for official meetings.
During his visit, Minister Bozkır was received by Dr. Heinz Fischer, President of Austria. Minister Bozkır met with Sebastian Kurz, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Europe and Integration of Austria. After a working luncheon hosted by Minister Kurz, two Ministers held a joint press conference.
Minister Bozkır met with chairs and members of EU Committees of Austrian National Parliament and Federal Council. Minister Bozkır also participated in the event organized by Association of Austrian and Turkish Businessmen and Industrialists on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of its establishment.
During his visit, Minister Bozkır gave a conference at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. He also met with the Austrian press.
In his visit to Vienna, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır exchanged views on Türkiye-Austria and Türkiye-EU relations, progress in EU accession negotiations, migration management and fight against terrorism with his Austrian counterparts.
