Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır wrapped up his visit to Paris and departed for Brussels

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır visited Paris on 3 February 2016 to hold official meetings.

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Bozkır met with Harlem Désir, French Secretary of State for European Affairs at a working lunch. Minister Bozkır held separate meetings with the Members and the Chairs of European Affairs Committee of the Senate and National Assembly, and addressed the members of the French Parliament on Türkiye-EU relations and responded to their questions.

Minister Bozkır also met with the French businessmen at a dinner hosted by the Turkish Embassy in Paris.  Harlem Désir, French Secretary of State for European Affairs also attended the dinner. 

Within the framework of his visit to Paris, Minister Bozkır exchanged views with his counterparts on Türkiye’s EU accession negotiations, bilateral relations, migration crisis, the fight against PKK and terrorism.

Minister Bozkır also joined live broadcast of TRT and gave interview about his meetings in Paris.
