Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu will chair the 3rd Reform Action Group (RAG) Meeting tomorrow
Political reforms constitute one of the main elements of the EU accession process, which is the most important modernisation project following the proclamation of the Turkish Republic.
Reform Action Group plays an active role in the preparation of drafts of the political reforms, their adoption at the Turkish Grand National Assembly and their implementation. The first and second meetings of the RAG were held on 8 November 2014 and 20 February 2015 respectively under the coordination of the Ministry for EU Affairs,
The 3rd meeting of the Reform Action Group (RAG) will be chaired by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu and held at the Prime Minister's Office in Ankara on 11 December 2015, Friday at 15.30 hrs with the participation of Volkan Bozkır, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator, Bekir Bozdağ, Minister of Justice, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Efkan Ala, Minister of Interior.
The requirements for achieving the target of visa-free travel of Turkish citizens to the Schengen area as of October 2016 and our political reform process will be the main items on the meeting agenda.
