Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır’s Visit to Brussels

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Amb”assador Volkan Bozkır will visit Brussels, Belgium on 11-12 February 2015.

On the first day of his visit to Brussels, Minister Bozkır will meet with Jonathan Hill, Commissioner for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union, Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Carlos Moedas, Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, and Pierre Moscovici, Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Taxation and Customs.

Minister Bozkır will also meet with Emine Bozkurt, former member of the European Parliament, and on 12 February 2015, Minister Bozkır will deliver a speech on Türkiye- EU relations  and the recent developments in Europe at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), one of the leading think-tanks of Brussels.

During his visit, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will exchange views on Türkiye-EU relations with a focus on Türkiye's EU accession process.
