Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır attends the “Fikir Sofrası Meeting”to be held in Vienna

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will attend as a guest of honour the 12^th “Fikir Sofrası Meeting" which be held in Vienna, Austria, on 16-17 January 2015.

On this occasion, Minister Bozkır will share the determined and concrete steps taken by Türkiye for EU accession within the scope of “Türkiye’s New European Union Communication Strategy”. This Strategy has been implemented as of October with the objective of ensuring the participation of all segments of society in the EU accession process and accurately informing the public and eliminating prejudices regarding this matter.  

The first meeting of the "Fikir Sofrası”, which has become important platforms for exchanging ideas in Türkiye, to be held abroad will bring together leaders from the Turkish business world, academia, and financial, media and non-governmental organizations with their European counterparts.
