The Coordination Meeting of the IPA Multi Beneficiary Programme was held in Bruss

The Coordination Meeting of the IPA Multi Beneficiary Programme which is centrally managed by the EU Commission to support the reforms of the candidate and potential candidate countries during the EU accession process was held on 26-27 April 2012 in Brussels. Representatives of the European Commission, EU-Delegations, NIPAC Offices and the Regional Cooperation Council participated in the meeting.

Firstly, update on programming process IPA 2012 and 2013 was made and progress in regional cooperation in the sector of ‘Justice and Home Affairs’ was assessed.  Furthermore, key points of IPA II regulation and draft Implementing Rules were introduced. Lastly, priorities for regional cooperation and programming of IPA post 2013 were discussed through three parallel sub-sessions.
