College of Europe Scholarship Program
The College of Europe was the world's first university institute of postgraduate studies and training in European affairs, and remains unique and innovative to this day. Its origins date back to the 1948 Hague Congress when Salvador de Madariaga, a Spanish statesman proposed the establishment of a College where university graduates from many different countries could study and live together.
In 1993, the second campus of College of Europe was founded at Natolin (Warsaw, Poland) with the support of the European Commission and the Polish government. The College now operates as ‘one College - two campuses'.
The "College of Europe Scholarship Program" held within the coordination of the Ministry for EU Affairs, has been initiated in the academic year of 2010-2011. The aim of the program is to train highly qualified EU affairs experts and future Turkish Eurocrats in the process of Turkey’s full membership to the European Union.
