The Second Call for Proposals under the Bulgaria - Türkiye IPA CBC Programme has been launched

General Directorate Territorial Cooperation Management within the Ministry of Regional Development, Bulgaria (Managing Authority) in cooperation with the Ministry of European Affairs, Türkiye (National Authority) initiated acceptance of project proposals under the Second Call of the CBC Programme between Bulgaria and Türkiye, funded by the IPA. The planned budgets for this call for proposal from both partnering countries amounts to 8,941,025 Euro. Applications must fall into one of the two priority axes - "Sustainable Social and Economic development" and "Improving the Quality of Life".

The ultimate objective of the Programme is to enhance the capacity of local and regional authorities, NGOs and business associations, educational and cultural institutions and others to develop and implement joint projects within the border region, which is determined by the program as follows: for Bulgaria (administrative level NUTS III) – Districts of Bourgas, Yambol and Haskovo, and for Türkiye (administrative level equivalent to NUTS III) - Provinces of Edirne and Kirklareli.

The deadline for submission of proposals is December 8, 2011. For clarification and assistance purposes to potential beneficiaries, informational campaigns will be organized within the Bulgarian and Turkish territory. The dates and venues of the information campaigns will be announced on the following web-sites:
