Egemen Bağış Met with Spanish Journalists
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış met with the Spanish journalists at the Istanbul Office of the Secretariat General for EU Affairs on March 6, 2011. Egemen Bağış stated that "Out of 32 chapters, 13 chapters have been opened to negotiations and others could not be opened due to the political reasons. Such an attitude makes things difficult." Minister Bağış also expressed that "As the Turkish government, we are trying to bring Turkey and Europe close to each other".
