A Publicity Event under the Bulgaria-Turkey Cross Border Cooperation Programme Was Held
On 22 December 2010, Bulgaria-Turkey Cross Border Cooperation Programme Publicity Meeting was organized in Edirne by the EUSG in cooperation with Edirne Governorship EU Coordination Center. In addition to EUSG as the National Authority, representatives from the Bulgarian Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (Managing Authority of the Programme), Consulate General of Bulgaria in Edirne, Edirne and Kırklareli Governorships, local authorities, professional associations and NGO's from Bulgaria and Turkey participated in the meeting.
During the event while the potential beneficiaries in the region were being infomed on Bulgaria-Turkey Cross Border Programme which is implemented under IPA Cross Border Cooperation component (II Component), the preliminary evaluation results of the first call for proposal and the most common mistakes made by the applicants were explained. The participants' proposals and opinions about the procedures and documents provided in projects' submission under the first call, including challenges they faced were received as well. The opinions and proposals received will be taken into account when the guideline of the second call for proposal is drafted.
