Within the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance Context 2009 Financing Agreements Were Signed
Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) is the tool of financial support of the European Union to the candidate and potential candidate countries in order to converge and prepare them to the membership. As a candidate country, Türkiye also benefits from these funds by producing projects under five components of the IPA.
In this context, for the year 2009 Financing Agreement of Transition Assistance and Institution Building component (1st component); 2009 Financing Agreement of Cross-Border Cooperation component (2nd component) Black-Sea Basin Programme and Financing Agreements of 'Transport', 'Environment','Regional Competitiveness' Operational Programmes under Regional Development Component (3rd component) have been signed by National IPA Coordinator, Secretary General Ambassador Volkan BOZKIR.
