EU Minister Ömer Çelik Participated in the Project Opening Ceremony in Adana

The opening ceremony of “Strengtening the Capacity for EU” project which was hosted by Adana Governorate  and  Adana Chamber of Industry, has been held by the participation of Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik.

Programme that will be conducted throughout the year 2017, aims to increase the knowledge level on EU, raise the awareness on EU process of public institutions, universities, public professional organizations, municipalities, non-governmental organizations, Adana Governorate, Municipality of Yüreğir, Adana Chamber of Industry and support to the stakeholders via increasing the capacity on EU in the region through trainings so that they can benefit from EU funds efficiently.

During the meeting, the participants have been informed about Türkiye-EU Financial Cooperation, financial supports under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, Grant Programmes, Participation in Union Programmes and Agencies, 2014-2020 Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, COSME Programme as well as EU Programme for Employment and Social Innovation.
