EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Volkan Bozkır will go to Strasbourg on 20.01.2016 for official meetings at The Council of Europe and The European Parliament. Minister Bozkır will also accompany Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu during his visit to Berlin

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkir will go to Strasbourg on 20 January 2016 for official meetings at The Council of Europe and The European Parliament. Minister Bozkir will also accompany Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu during his visit to Berlin

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will go to Strasbourg on 20 January 2016 to hold official meetings with the Council of Europe and the European Parliament (EP).

At the Council of Europe, Minister Bozkır will meet with Thorbjørn Jagland, Secretary General of the Council of Europe and with Gianni Buquicchio, President of the Venice Commission.

At the European Parliament, Minister Bozkır will meet with Kati Piri, rapporteur for Türkiye of the EP; co-chairmen and members of the Friends of Türkiye Group; Gianni Pittella, Chair of the Group of Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (S&D); Manfred Weber, Chair of the Group of European People's Party (EPP); and Syed Kamall, Chair of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group (ECR).

During his meetings in Strasbourg, Minister Bozkır will exchange views regarding Türkiye's reform process and accession process to the EU.

Following his visit to Strasbourg, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will accompany Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu on his visit to Berlin to attend the first Türkiye-Germany Intergovernmental Strategic Consultations.

In Berlin, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will have a working breakfast with Michael Roth, Minister of State for EU Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.
