Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır’s Visit to Brussels

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will visit Brussels, Belgium on 20-21 March 2015.

During his visit, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will meet with Frans Timmermans, European Commission’s First Vice-President for Better Regulation, Inter-Institutional Relations, the Rule of Law and Charter of Fundamental Rights; Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations; Valdis Dombrovskis, Commissioner for the Euro and Social Dialogue; Karmenu Vella, Commissioner for Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries; and Miguel Arias Cañete, Commissioner for Climate Action and Energy.

Minister Bozkır will attend and deliver speeches in the sessions both on “Countering the New Wave of Terrorism at Home and Abroad” and “Türkiye – Bridge or Barrier?” at the 2015 Brussels Forum held by the German Marshall Fund (GMF).

During his visit to Brussels, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will exchange views on Türkiye's EU accession process.
