The 35th meeting of the EU-Türkiye Joint Consultative Committee
Minister for EU Affairs Ömer Çelik has attended the 35th meeting of the EU-Türkiye Joint Consultative Committee, which was held in Ankara on 5-6 December 2016. Minister Çelik delivered an opening speech at the meeting. The Consultative Committee meeting was co-chaired by Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Annie van Wezel. During the meeting, discussions were held on the state of play in EU-Türkiye relations, refugee crisis, visa liberalisation for Turkish citizens, investment climate in Türkiye, redefinition of Customs Union and Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).
