Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır's visits to Komotini and Xanthi

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will pay a visit to Komotini on 24-25 July 2015 as the representative of the Turkish Government to attend the commemoration ceremony on the twentieth anniversary of the death of Dr. Sadık Ahmet, the unforgettable leader of Western Thrace Turkish Minority and the founder and first leader of Friendship, Equality and Peace Party.

After the commemoration ceremony to be held at the grave of late Dr. Sadık Ahmet, Minister Bozkır will attend the Mevlid to be organised in Komotini Eski Mosque.

Minister Bozkır, will also visit elected Mufti of Komotini and elected Mufti of Xanthi as well as the Komotini Turkish Youth Association and the Turkish Union of Xanthi. Minister Bozkır will also meet with the representatives of the Turkish minority in Komotini.
