Joint Monitoring Committee of Bulgaria-Türkiye IPA Cross Border Cooperation Programme was held in Sozopol, Bulgaria

The Joint Monitoring Committee Meeting of the Bulgaria – Türkiye IPA Cross Border which is co-chaired Bulgarian Ministry for Regional Development, acting as the Managing Authority of the Programme and Ministry for EU Affairs of Türkiye, acting as the National Authority, has been organized in Sozopol, Bulgaria 23 June 2015.

During the meeting the 2014 implementation report was reviewed and adopted in the scope of the on-going monitoring of the Bulgaria-Türkiye IPA Cross-border Programme. Also the Committee negotiated on issues regarding the implementation of the Programme and a ceremony was conducted for awarding the contracts of the selected projects to be financed from the remaining budget of the 2007-2013 period within the context of the third call for proposals.

In addition to the Joint Technical Secretariat staff and other committee members, representatives from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Development and Undersecretariat of Treasury National Fund have also participated in the above mentioned meeting.
