Civil Society Dialogue IV İstanbul Info Day Organised
Information day for Civil Society Dialogue between the EU and Türkiye IV project has been held with the opening speeches of Minister for European Union Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Mr. Volkan Bozkır on 6 May 2015.
Following the opening speeches of Central Finance and Contracts Unit Acting Director Ms. Emine Döğer, in his opening speech, Mr. Bozkır underlined that the Ministry for EU Affairs is aware of the fact that only with an active and participatory civil society, it is possible for Türkiye to reach the full membership objective and therefore the Ministry comes together with civil society representatives in every possible platform.
Afterwards, over 300 participants are informed about the grant opportunities under the Civil Society Dialogue between the EU and Türkiye project and how to prepare project proposals.
Civil Society Dialogue between the EU and Türkiye IV project has been implemented by the Ministry for EU Affairs with the aim of promoting cooperation among civil societies in Türkiye and EU member states. Within the scope of the project, projects in the field of Environment; Energy; Consumer and Health Protection; Justice, Freedom and Security; Right of Establishment and Freedom to Provide Services; Regional Policy and Coordination of Structural Elements; Enterprise and Industrial Policy; Agriculture and Fisheries; and Education will be supported with a total of 11 million Euros.
