Volkan Bozkır, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator visited Budapest for the meeting on energy security
The meeting on energy security hosted by Peter Szijjarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Of Hungary was held in Budapest on 7 April 2015 with the participation of five countries. Volkan Bozkır, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator represented Türkiye in the meeting. Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Macedonia and Serbia also participated in the meeting.
On the margins of the energy meeting and the working luncheon, Minister Bozkır was received by Viktor Orban, Prime Minister of Hungary and Minister Bozkır held a bilateral meeting with Peter Szijjarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary. Furthermore, Minister Bozkır met with Szabolcs Takacs, State Secretary of Hungary in charge of European Union Affairs and held bilateral meetings with Nikos Kotzias, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nikola Poposki, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Macedonia.
During his visit, Minister Bozkır also unveiled the bust of Ömer Lütfü Pasha in Hungarian Military History Museum.
