Seminar on Sector Budget Support was held under the coordination of the Financial Cooperation Directorate of MEUA and with the contributions of the European Commission.

A full day seminar on Sector Budget Support (SBS) which was proposed as one of the new implementation modalities of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) II period, has been held under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmet YUCEL, Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry for EU Affairs (MEUA) with the participation of related public institutions on 31 March 2015. To the seminar that was organized under the coordination of Financial Cooperation Directorate of MEUA,  the consultants of European Commission also contributed.

In the morning session of seminar the basic rules, principles and main building blocks of SBS was introduced by the EC consultants. In the afternoon session, the model was detailed with the simulation of a SBS in the area of “migration”.
