Türkiye-EU Subcommittee No:2 was held in Brussels
Türkiye-EU Subcommittee No:2 was held in Brussels on 20 March 2015, co-chaired by Ministry for EU Affairs DEputy Undersecretary Mr. Ahmet Yücel.
Subcommittees which are significant instruments of the negotiation process have been restructured to ensure a more efficient and result oriented approach.
Within this framework, developments in the EU and Türkiye concerning Public Procurement, Competition Policy and Company Law chapters were discussed with a focus on legal alignment, administrative capacity and enforcement.
Furthermore, a technical meeting was also held on 19 March 2015 within the margin of Subcommittee No 2 on company LAw chapter with a view to concluding the intensive technical studies pursued on legislative alignment fort he last two years.
