Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır Visited Brussels

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır visited Brussels, Belgium on 11-12 February 2015.

In the scope of his Brussels visit, Minister Bozkır met  with Jonathan  Hill, Commissioner for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union ,Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations,  Carlos Moedas, Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation  and Pierre Moscovici, Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Taxation and Customs.

Having delivered a speech on Türkiye- EU relations  and the recent developments in Europe at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), one of the leading think-tanks of Brussels, Minister Bozkır met with Emine Bozkurt, former Member of the European Parliament. Visits to Brussels offices of Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association  (MUSIAD), and Turkish Industry & Business Association (TUSIAD) were also part of Minister Bozkır's program.

During his visit, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır exchanged views on Türkiye-EU relations with a focus on Türkiye's EU accession process.
