Announcement of the 2015-2016 Academic Year Jean Monnet Scholarships

The applications for the 2015-2016 academic year Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme has started on 26 January 2015. The application deadline is 6 March 2015.

The Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme (JMSP) aims to increase the number of experts in the EU field and support Türkiye’s administrative capacity building efforts for the effective implementation of the EU acquis, within the framework of Türkiye’s negotiation process for full membership to the EU.

210 scholarships will be granted for the 2015-2016 academic year.

- Those currently working in Türkiye in Public Sector (including professional organizations having legal public personality, chambers, local administration, development agencies etc.)

• - Those currently working in Türkiye in Private Sector (NGOs, companies etc.)
• - Those currently working in Türkiye in Universities as academicians or administrative staff
• - Those who are senior undergraduate students or graduate (master or PhD) students in Türkiye

and who want to be specialised on the EU acquis are invited to apply for a scholarship.

It is strongly recommended that the announcement shall be read thoroughly since there are major amendments for the 2015-2016 academic year regarding the application criteria and evaluation and placement processes.
