Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır Received High-Level EU Officials

Together with Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır received Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission; Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations; and Christos Stylianides, Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management  on 8 December 2014.

Within this scope, Minister Bozkır also participated in the meetings held by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu with these high-level EU officials.

Minister Bozkır and Minister Cavuşoğlu also held a meeting with EU High Representative and the Commissioners, followed by a working luncheon and a joint press conference. In the meetings, EU’s objective of strengthening Türkiye-EU relations and efforts towards accelerating Türkiye’s EU accession process were highlighted.
