Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır Visited Luxembourg
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır visited Luxembourg on 20-21 November 2014 for official meetings.
During his visit, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır met with Xavier Bettel, Prime Minister of Luxembourg, and with Jean Asselborn, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs.
Minister Bozkır and Minister Asselborn attended a joint press conference following their meeting, and Minister Bozkır also attended the luncheon given in his honour by Minister Asselborn.
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır had meetings with Etienne Schneider, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Economy of Luxembourg; Mars Di Bartolomeo, President of Luxembourg’s Chamber of Deputies; and also with the members of the Committee on Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Cooperation and Immigration of the Chamber of Deputies. Minister Bozkır gave interviews to the press in Luxembourg.
During his visit to Luxembourg, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır exchanged views on Türkiye-EU relations with a focus on Türkiye's EU accession process as well as on bilateral relations between Türkiye and Luxembourg.
