14th Internal Coordination and Harmonization Committee Meeting

Internal Coordination and Harmonization Committee, which was established in order to coordinate the work on the harmonization/implementation of the EU acquis and accession negotiations, was held on 30 September 2014, at 10:00 at the Ministry for EU Affairs.

Internal Coordination and Harmonization Committee Meeting was chaired by the Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan BOZKIR in his capacity as Minister for the first time with the participation of Undersecretaries and EU Contact Points of public institutions.

In the meeting, Türkiye’s New European Union Strategy as well as the National Action Plan for EU Accession (2014-2015) were addressed. The Strategy aims to reach EU standards in every field by accelerating the reform process, to determine the priority areas in the negotiating chapters and to strengthen communication channels that will reveal the potential of Türkiye-EU relations.
