EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Volkan Bozkır Attended World Economic Forum İstanbul Special Meeting

EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Volkan Bozkır attended the special meeting of The World’s Economical Forum named “Unlocking Resources for Regional Development” held in İstanbul. About 600 high level participants of over 70 countries participated to the meeting which the opening was realized by our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the closing by our Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu.

Within the scope of the World Economical Forum İstanbul Special Meeting Minister Bozkır addressed the press in the press meeting held before the opening on Sunday 28 of September. Minister Bozkır met with the President of the EU Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, at the Istanbul Ataturk Airport and had a private meeting. He delivered a speech at the World Economic Forum Istanbul meeting's panel on "EU Neighborhood & Beyond" on Monday 29 of September. 

Within the scope of the World Economical Forum EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Volkan Bozkır met with Vidar Helgesen, Minister for EU Affairs of Norway.
