EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Volkan Bozkır Attended President’s 69th UN General Council Program

EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Volkan Bozkır went to New York on the 21st of September in order to take part in the 69th UN General Council meetings program of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Minister Bozkır first attended President Erdoğan’s speech at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).

Later on Minister Bozkır attended President Erdoğan’s hosting of İtalian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and meeting with Slovene President Borut Pahor.

 

Having followed President Erdoğan’s address at the UN General Council Minister Bozkır then attended President Erdoğan’s hosting of Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta.

 

Minister Bozkır attended the 69th UN General Council Meeting on the 24th of September in a delegation led by President Erdoğan. Subsequently Minister Bozkır met with Stefan Füle, EU Enlargement Commissioner, to discuss the 2014 Türkiye Progress Report.

 

On the 24th of September President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed at the 69th UN General Council. Later, Minister Bozkır made a speech at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Financial Contact Group within the context of general council.

 

As the program continues Minister Bozkır attended President Erdoğan’s meeting with Latvian President Andris Berzins. After the meeting, Minister Bozkır attended the G7 Deauville Partnership Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting.

 

EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Volkan Bozkır’s program has been finalized by attendance at the UN Alliance of Civilizations Annual Ministers Meeting.
