Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır Has Completed His Strasbourg Contacts
EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Volkan Bozkır, attended a series of important meetings on the second day of his Strasbourg contacts. |

Minister Bozkır had his first meeting with Dimitris Avramopoulos, European Commissioner for Migration & Home Affairs. Later, Minister Volkan Bozkır met with European Commissioner responsible for Consumer Protection, Neven Mimica. |

Minister Bozkır’s meetings went on with European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee member Richard Howitt. Following this meeting, Minister Bozkır met with the European People's Party (EPP) member and Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) Coordinator Mr. Cristian Dan Preda. |

Minister Bozkır, then, met with former European Commissioner responsible for enlargement, currently EP Vice President Olli Rehn. Coming together at a working lunch with the members of "European Conservatives and Reformists Alliance (AECR), Mr. Volkan Bozkır had his final meeting in Strasbourg. |

Finalizing his contacts in Strasbourg, Minister Bozkır, moved on to Brussels for two days of meetings accompanied by his retinue. In his meetings, EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Volkan Bozkır, had the opportunity to present Türkiye’s new EU strategy and short term expectations from the EU. Minister Bozkır stressed that Türkiye perceives the EU membership as a strategic goal and would decisively continue her reform making process. |
