Coordination Meeting for the IPA Multi Beneficiary Programme was Held in İstanbul

The coordination meeting of the IPA Multi Beneficiary Programme, which is implemented by the Ministry of European Union Affairs, was conducted on 15 – 16 May 2014 in İstanbul. During the meeting which was initiated by a welcome speech delivered by Mr. Ahmet Yücel, Acting Under Secretery for the Ministry for EU Affairs Türkiye was represented by the delegation from our Ministry under the presidency of Ms. Beyza Turan, Director for Financial Cooperation. The representatives from the beneficiary institutions, National IPA Coordinators and EU Delegations from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia, as well as representatives of the Regional Cooperation Council also participated.

In the meeting, a discussion for the 2014-2020 programming period was held, the strategy titled “Strengthening European Integration” was presented, the comments and recent revisions on the Multi Country Strategy Paper were evaluated, and topics such as the project areas regarding the Programme and other horizontal funds were introduced.
