Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu Attended Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD)
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu participated in the 7th Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) Meeting held in Stockholm on May 14, 2014. Delivering a speech in the opening ceremony of the meeting, Minister Çavuşoğlu pointed to the multi-dimensional relationship between migration and development and stated that Türkiye is always ready to contribute to the prevention of illegal immigration and to the improvement of dialogue between origin, transit and destination countries.
Türkiye will be hosting the next meeting of the Forum for the term 2014-2015.
