Joint Programming Committee of the Cross Border Cooperation at the Black Sea Basin Programme was Held
Fourth meeting of the Joint Programming Committee, established for the purpose of programming of the ENI Cross Border Cooperation at the Black Sea Basin Programme for which the Ministry for EU Affairs acts as National Authority of Türkiye, was held on 28-29 April 2014 in Şile, İstanbul. The meeting was co-chaired by Ms. Beyza Turan, Director of Financial Cooperation Directorate, together with the Romanian Managing Authority, and a welcome speech was delivered by Mr. Can Tabakoğlu, Mayor of Şile. Representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, and Türkiye as well as representatives of European Commission and INTERACT attended the meeting.
Presentations regarding ENI regulation published in March 2014 were made at the meeting. Issues such as proposed thematic objectives and priorities for the 2014-2020 ENI Cross Border Cooperation at the Black Sea Basin Programme, Programme structures to be established in the new period, roles and responsibilities of the participating countries, evaluation and selection procedure of projects were discussed.
