Cooperation Protocol between the Ministry for EU Affairs and TRNC Ministry of Foreign Affairs is Signed
Ministry for European Union Affairs and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ministry (TRNC) of Foreign Affairs signed a Protocol to share Turkish experience and know-how on EU Acquis alignment and implementation with line institutions of TRNC and to give technical assistance to these institutions on EU accession.
The Cooperation Protocol has been signed between Minister for European Union Affairs and Chief Negotiator Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and TRNC Minister of Foreign Affairs Özdil Nami on April 11, 2014 in Nicosia at the TRNC Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Under the framework of the Protocol, the two Ministries aim to share experience and knowledge on the European Union accession process through staff exchange, common projects like EU Twinning Projects, study visits and educational programs.
