Ministry for the EU Affairs as the National Authority (NA) of the ENPI CBC at the Black Sea Basin Programme organised Project Implementation Training on 18-19 February 2014 in Istanbul Princess Hotel for the Turkish beneficiaries and partners of the projects implemented under the first and second calls for proposals.
On the first day of the event, information was provided by a grant expert, the representatives of the NA and of the Central Finance and Contracts Unit (CFCU) to the participants representing the Turkish beneficiaries of the 34 projects under implementation, regarding issues related to implementation such as procurement process and reporting as well as about awareness of irregularities and measures to prevent them.
On the second day of the event, training continued with issues related to implementation. In addition, representatives of two projects that have been finalised under the first call for proposals made presentations regarding their own experiences in implementation with the aim of providing guidance to the projects that have recently started.
During the training participants shared their challenges in implementation of their projects with the representatives of EU Ministry and the CFCU, which in turn, the representatives provided guiding information in order to overcome these challenges.
