Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu Accompanies Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan During the Visit to Brussels
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited Brussels to meet EU Officials on January 21, 2014. Deputy Prime Ministers, Beşir Atalay and Emrullah İşler; Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu; Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ahmet Davutoğlu; Minister for Economy, Nihat Zeybekçi; and Minister for Culture and Tourism, Ömer Çelik accompanied the Prime Minister during the visit. Prime Minister Erdoğan held seperate meetings with the President of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy; the President of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso; and the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz.
In addition to these meetings with high level EU Officials, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with René Van Der Linden, member of the Senate of the Netherlands.
