Egemen Bağış Participated to the Dialogue Forum on Civil Society in Türkiye and the EU
Minister for EU Affairs and the Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış participated to the opening ceremony of the “Dialogue Forum on Civil Society in Türkiye and the EU” of the Parliamentary Exchange and Dialogue Project in Istanbul.
The opening speeches were delivered by Minister Bağış and Grand National Assembly of Türkiye-EU Harmonization Committee President and Project Leader Prof. Mehmet Tekelioğlu.
In his speech, Minister Bağış stated that the most important obstacle in front of Türkiye’s EU membership are prejudices and civil society organizations will contribute to overcome these prejudices.
