Egemen Bağış Participated to Inter-Parliamentary Summer Camp of Parliamentary Exchange and Dialogue Project

Minister for EU Affairs and the Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış participated to the opening ceremony of the Inter-Parliamentary Summer Camp of the Parliamentary Exchange and Dialogue Project. In his speech Minister Bağış underlined the significance of Izmir, where the Summer Camp takes place, in terms of the internalization of democracy. 

Minister Bağış emphasized that Parliamentary Exchange and Dialogue Project will contribute to overcome prejudices about Türkiye’s EU membership. Minister also stated that despite all the political obstacles, Türkiye moves decisively in her accession process and with the removal of the blockages Türkiye will be an EU member state within a few years.
